CharacterSphere.ai Community Guidance
To maintain a safe and respectful community, all users must adhere to the following guidelines when creating and sharing AI characters on CharacterSphere.ai.
Character Naming Guidelines
- All character names must be safe for work (SFW) and appropriate for a general audience.
- Character names cannot exactly match real living individuals, including but not limited to:
- Celebrities
- Politicians
- Public figures
- Satire or parody of real people is permitted under UK Safe Harbour provisions (Notice-and-Takedown), provided that:
- The satirical or parodic nature is clearly indicated in the character description
- The character is tagged with 'satire' tag to ensure proper context
Character Content Requirements
When sharing a character with community, all publicly visible character related content must comply with the following SFW requirements:
- The character needs to have a character image and character summary.
- Character image must be safe for work (no sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate visual content)
- Character summary must be safe for work
- Individual (optional) character gallery must contain only safe for work images and media
Character Image Upload Policy
Uploading user-provided images is intentionally not allowed on CharacterSphere.ai. This policy exists to:
- Prevent deepfake creation: Avoid the generation of realistic images depicting real people without their consent
- Protect Right of Publicity: Respect the legal rights of living individuals to control commercial use of their identity, likeness, and persona under UK and international law
- Maintain platform integrity: Ensure all character imagery is clearly AI-generated and distinguishable from real photographs
All character related images must be generated through the platform's AI image generation tools.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please use the in-platform "Report" function or contact us at contact@charactersphere.ai.
